History

This home's colorization is the third since the 2010s. Before 2012, it had red accents to it, and between 2012 and 2018 at least, it was the dastardly cornflower blue. Luckily, the blue-ification of Haverford was somewhat halted with its most recent iteration.

The home was first shown extant in the 1929 map of Haverford. It is listed as vacant in the 1930 census, and by 1939, the Appleton family resided there.

Catherine died in 1963. The home was sold to the Shea family that same year. In 1985, they sold the home to the Loucks family, originally of 315 Valley Road, for $120,000. The Loucks sold the home in 2003 to the Flores family for $425,000. They sold the home in 2008 to the Carsons for $442,500. The Carsons sold the home a year later for $439,000 to the Strobers. Finally, the Strobers sold the home in 2020 for $590,000.
